MEET PAUL: WA’S FIRST HIGH-TECH PREMMIE TRAINING MANIKIN

Meet Paul, the tiniest life-saving legend! 

He may look like a real baby, but Paul is actually a super smart sim baby, a high-tech manikin designed for training doctors and nurses in real-life medical emergencies! Thanks to #RQCC 2024, ToyBox Australia proudly funded WA’s first-ever sim baby of its kind, designed to feel just like a 27-week premmie, complete with a heartbeat, breath sounds, and even baby-soft hair.

Paul’s now helping teams at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital practise life-saving skills like intubation, medication delivery, and emergency care. Plus, he’s portable, so he can travel across WA to support training in regional areas too!
