ToyBox Christmas Giving
Christmas is a special time of year, but for children spending the festive season in hospital, in care, or facing difficult circumstances, it can be a particularly challenging time. Each year, ToyBox Australia works with generous partners and supporters to bring a little extra joy, kindness and Christmas magic to children who need it most.
The incredible team at Pioneer Credit helped make Christmas at Perth Children’s Hospital extra special, generously funding every single gift wrapped for children who would be spending Christmas Day at the hospital.
Members of the Pioneer Credit team joined the ToyBox team and Board to spend an afternoon wrapping the gifts, filling the room with plenty of Christmas spirit along the way.
Mills Oakley WA partnered with ToyBox and generously donated and funded many of the gifts for children at Perth Children’s Hospital, helping to provide meaningful experiences for children and families spending Christmas in hospital.
ToyBox also partnered with Uniting WA to spread some festive cheer to children in its Out of Home Care Services.
Thanks to the generous donation of TOSSIT Darts from TOSSIT Australia, ToyBox was able to support Uniting WA’s Christmas activities, including 10 TOSSIT Boxes given to children as special holiday gifts.
Ashley Simpson from Uniting WA’s Out of Home Care Services shared how much the support means to the children:
“Our children are absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness of ToyBox Australia. Their ongoing support brings so much joy and so many smiles to the kids this Christmas!”
These initiatives are made possible through the generosity of businesses, community partners and individuals who believe every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas.
From gifts carefully chosen and wrapped for children in hospital, to donations that help support Christmas celebrations for children in care, every contribution can help turn a difficult day into something truly special.
